Industrial Design is a full-sevice product design and development
firm with 20 years of experience. Index is a unique, results-oriented
product design and development consulting group, located in Garrison
NY, one hour north of New York City in the Hudson Valley. Index
provides product design and development from concepts through engineering,
to finished product. The company owned 6000-sq.ft facility includes
design offices and a complete in-house model-making shop that gives
Index many significant competitive advantages by enabling an immediate
and continued 3-D exploration during the design and development
process. Index utilizes several 3-D Solid Modeling/CAD systems that
are used appropriately depending on the nature of each product/project.
Currently, Pro-Designer/CDRS, Pro-Engineer Wildfire, and Autodesk
Architectural Desktop 2005 and Inventor v.10 are used for concept
development, mechanical design and documentation. Autodesk’s
3-D Studio Viz, 3-D Studio MAX and Corel are used for product illustration
and graphic development.
